TDA LAUNCHES USER GUIDE FOR NEW ESOS ACTTAFE Directors Australia today released the TDA User Guide to help administrators implement the new Education Services for Overseas Students (ESOS) Act regulations on student and RTO audit requirements. The Act will come into effect on 1 July 2007. The TDA User Guide was developed in cooperation with a sample of key TAFE Institutes around Australia with assistance from DEST which is administering the new ESOS Act. The guide is designed to provide administrators with a practical series of guidelines and examples. Click here for the TDA User Guide.AQTF 2007 - ESSENTIAL STANDARDS & USER GUIDE RELEASEDThe final Essential Standards for the Australian Quality Training Framework (AQTF) 2007, and a user guide, have been released by DEST. DEST will host an AQTF Implementation Forum in Melbourne on Tuesday 26 June 2007 to be attended by peak provider organisations including TDA, Australian Council for Private Education and Training (ACPET) and the Enterprise Registered Training Organisations Association (ERTOA). TDA understands that even though the regulations for the new AQTF 2007 have been delayed, it is expected that they will still take effect on 1 July 2007. TDA will give members an update following the Forum. NVCER FORUM – EARLY BIRD REGISTRATION EXTENDEDEarly bird registration has been extended for the National Centre for Vocational Education Research Forum: ‘Supporting VET providers in building capability for the future’.
