JAPAN VET STUDY TOUR – Q4, 2007Australian Education International Japan invites expressions of interest from Australian TAFE Institutes to participate in a VET Study Tour to Japan in 2007. The VET study tour aims to introduce TAFE Directors and their private counterparts to the Japanese education system and the opportunities that exist in Japan. It would also be a chance to expose parts of the Japanese system to the Australian education model with a view to strengthening partnership arrangements between institutions in the two countries. The event kicks off celebrations for National Literacy and Numeracy Week and features some of Queensland's best educators and researchers. An Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Learning Showroom will also be available. The conference will be held at Brisbane's Hilton Hotel on Monday 3 September. Endeavour Scholarships are open to TAFE researchers, teachers and executives to undertake short or long term study, research and professional development in a broad range of disciplines and enable Australians to do the same abroad.
