Australia’s peak ICT Industry – TAFE Invitation

Peak information and communication technology (ICT) associations, the Australian Information Industry Association (AIIA) and the Australian Computer Society (ACS) have established the Industry Leadership Group to develop and facilitate participation in ICT study and careers as recommended in the 2006 Building Australian ICT Skills Report of the ICT Skills Foresighting Working Group. ESOS 2007 -- International Student Code Guide

A detailed guide on the updated ESOS Code 2007, effective 1 st July 2007, is now available. The Guide was released by the Department of Education, Science and Training to help VTE managers compare the existing and July 2007 regulations. [PDF PDF 89kb]

TAFE SANTA REACHES CHONGQING ! MERRY CHRISTMAS !!

TAFE Directors Australia congratulates the Australian TAFE executives delivering the World Bank / AusAID $20M vocational education programme in Chongqing, PR China. So auspicious is the 5 th year of the ACCVETP project that Santa (RE Martin Riordan??) made a special visit to Chongqing (en route after selections in Beijing for the next round of the China CEAIE directors exchange in 2007).

Santa celebrated the hard work by the ACVETP Team – made even more auspicious with the final day of their former historic Chongqing offices, soon to be demolished for the new monorail connection. Merry Christmas Chongqing – and to all from TAFE Directors Australia …
