RECORD STUDENT SATISFACTION RATINGSTAFE colleges and institutes have recorded record high rankings in the 2006 National Student Satisfaction Survey. Graduates ranked TAFE courses with unprecedented high approval ratings in the 2006 NCVER Vocational Education Outcomes Survey. A record 88.2% of government funded (dominantly TAFE) courses showed student satisfaction rising from 76.6% from 2002 to 88.2% in 2006. A key trend in satisfaction was employment outcomes from TAFE courses -- almost 4 out of 5 secured in employment soon after courses.
