TAFE MEETS Parliament - Skills Innovation 2020 launch

TDA celebrates its 10th anniversary with a special 2-day 'TAFE meets Parliament: Skills Innovation 2020' forum and Parliamentary Dinner 16-17 September 2008.

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Education, Employment and Workplace Relations, the Hon. Julia Gillard MPDeputy Prime Minister and Minister for Education, Employment and Workplace Relations, the Hon. Julia Gillard MP, will deliver the Mick Young Oration 2008, at a special Parliamentary Dinner on Tuesday 16 September at Old Parliament House, on her vision of the Government's social inclusion and skills mission.

Peak bodies, TAFE supplier companies and key VET stakeholders are invited to book tables for the Parliamentary Dinner, with proceeds to support two Mick Young Scholarship TAFE students for international study and a work placement in 2009.

There is a special offer to delegates who attend the Mick Young Oration 2008 and Parliamentary Dinner. Nominate to book a table of 10 to attend the dinner and you will be eligible to have 3 delegates attend Skills Innovation 2020 for the price of one!
