Students affected by discontinuation of diploma courses
Franklyn Scholar and Asia Pacific Training Institute (Acquire Learning)
TAFE Directors Australia (TDA) is assisting students of these two colleges who are no longer able to complete their course.
TDA is the operator of the Tuition Assurance Scheme (TAS) of which the Providers are members. Membership of a TAS is a legislative requirement for all RTOs offering VET FEE-HELP.
If you have recently enrolled in a Unit of Study, opted-in under VET FEE-HELP and not yet been deemed competent or course complete TDA TAS can help you continue your studies with another provider.
ACTIONS REQUIRED FROM STUDENTS
The tuition assurance process requires you to first of all select either “course assurance” or “fee assurance” – a link to a form is below (Please complete as per the instructions by 12 April 2017). We highly recommend you accept the “course assurance” option as this will enable you to complete your studies ONLINE with an alternative TDA TAS member.
We will then contact you about enrolling with the second provider, processing a re-credit of your VFH debt or counsel you regarding your options.
Please click on the link below to find out more about your options and to complete a form to help TDA help you.
