$11B EDUCATION INVESTMENT FUND & 2008 MICK YOUNG ORATION

Philip Clark AM, Chair, Higher Education Endowment Fund Advisory Board, has confirmed as a keynote speaker at the TAFE MEETS Parliament: Skills Innovation 2020 forum in Canberra. TDA had been active pre-Budget 2008 with its 'Australian e-TAFE' new technologies platform for capital investment focus for TAFE Institutes.
TDA will host the TAFE Meets Parliament: Skills Innovation 2020 forum, which will be held 16-17 September in Canberra. The forum is designed as both an engagement and a network opportunity for Australia's TAFE institute leaders and partners.
On the Tuesday evening of the two day event, Deputy Prime Minister, the Hon Julia Gillard MP, will deliver the 2008 Mick Young Oration at a 10th Anniversary TDA Parliamentary Dinner (Old Parliament House, 6 for 7.00pm, Tues 16 September).
Peak bodies and VET stakeholders are invited to book a table. The event will raise funds to send two Mick Young Scholarship Trust students overseas to extend their study and undertake a work placement.
