TAFE Institute students are achieving record job success, according to the latest National Centre for Vocational Education Research (NCVER) Student Outcomes Survey 2007.

The survey shows record employability for TAFE and vocational education students - some 95% of apprentices and trainees were employed following the completion of their training.

Some 89% of TAFE students were satisfied with the overall quality of their training and almost one third of students enrolled in further study or education.

TAFE Directors Australia issued a media release on the results and the survey gained media coverage on ABC Radio and networks. View TDA's media release here.

The survey also found that 27% of students surveyed received some recognition of prior learning - 32% in trade courses, and 26% in non-trade courses.
