TDA09 - Universities Australia Chair - Guest Speaker
Professor Peter Coaldrake, the incoming Chair of Universities Australia, will be a guest speaker on day two of the TDA Annual Conference next month, focusing on “One Tertiary” reforms in the post-Bradley environment.
Professor Bradley will also be one of several leading domestic and international speakers confirmed for the TDA09 Annual Conference, to be held on the Gold Coast 3rd and 4th September 2009.
TDA is holding several Pre-Conference briefings ahead of TDA09. These include:
- The Senate Committee on rural and regional affairs, will confirm this week its interest to hold a special one-day hearing on or near the Gold Coast, to meet TAFE executives.
- Linda White, Branch Manager, DEEWR VET FEE HELP, will provide a special Pre-Conference briefing to TAFE executives on recent regulatory changes for VET FEE HELP.
- ATIN International executives will hear from Trades Recognition Australia on key trends in immigration and related changes
- The TDA board will meet, ahead of TDA09.
On Day 2, a special HR Breakfast will be hosted by Slade Partners to discuss executive recruitment trends and challenges across the TAFE Institute marketplace.
