International Student Roundtable begins today
The Deputy Prime Minister, the Hon Julia Gillard MP, is hosting from today an International Student Roundtable in Canberra, to discuss student experiences and concerns.
A total of 31 international students were chosen out of 1,300 applicants to participate in the Roundtable. Outcomes will be included in a review of the Education Services for Overseas Students Act, and will be presented to the Ministerial Council on Tertiary Education and Employment at its meeting this month.
TDA will be represented at tonight’s Parliamentary Dinner for the Roundtable by its board member, Dr. Colin Adrian, CEO of Canberra Institute of Technology.
