2009 Mick Young Oration - registrations open

TDA is pleased to announce that the Treasurer, the Hon Wayne Swan MP, will present the 2009 Mick Young Oration at Parliament House Canberra, 18 November.

The Oration was established by TDA in conjunction with the Mick Young Scholarship Trust, and presents a unique opportunity to hear from the nation’s political leaders on the vision and role of education in modern Australia.

TDA members and industry stakeholders are warmly invited to the Oration, followed by a Parliamentary Dinner. The event, which was last year addressed by the Deputy Prime Minister, the Hon Julia Gillard MP, is a chance to network with a range of industry leaders, policy makers, officials, Ministers and MPs.

Funds raised will go toward the Mick Young Scholarship Trust, which provides scholarships to needy Australians to study in TAFE and vocational education.
