Record response to TDA 2010 National Conference – one week to go!
A record response by delegates and suppliers to TAFE Institutes will ensure next week’s TAFE Directors Australia 2010 National Conference will be a significant calendar event for the Australian training sector.
The event will debate the policy components that will form Australia’s new skills agenda. It will feature senior Government officials (subject to swearing in ceremonies), along with the foremost international leadership in training, including the head of a leading UK College and a senior official from the Ministry of Education in China.
Registrations are limited, so please contact the Conference organisers promptly if you are yet to book.
Please note: the TDA 2010 Conference Dinner drinks will now begin at 7pm, not 6:30pm on Monday 13thSeptember, to allow delegates more time to arrive at the Aquarium, located on the corner of King and Flinders streets - a 10 minute walk from the Conference at Crown Promenade.
For more information about the Conference click here. View the program here.
TDA is collaborating with the Victorian TAFE Association (VTA) to prepare a joint response to the options paper ‘The quality of teaching in VET’ prepared by Associate Professor Leesa Wheelahan and Dr Gavin Moodie for the LH Martin Institute for Higher Education Leadership and Management.
